How much does it cost?

​

To estimate the cost of stump removal, consider 10$ per inch of stump (at the base). However, many factors can influence the price, including:

• Access and location of the tree stump

• Height of the stump (may require cutting it down to start the grinding process)

• Removal of excess dirt / mulch

• Multiple tree stumps on location can reduce the cost per stump

• Additional surface roots can be removed for a fee

 

 

What can I do with the left over wood chips.

The excess material we produce from grinding your tree stump is excellent for use in your yard and garden. It can serve as mulch for the base of hedges and shrubs. It's also amazing base filler for vegetable boxes or it can be used as mulch in your flower gardens to prevent weed growth and maintain soil health.

Where does TerraForce MTL service?

We are centrally located in Montreal, Quebec. We'd be happy to grind any tree stump within the greater Montreal area, Laval, North Shore and South Shore.

Is TerraForce MTL insured? Do we need a permit?

​TerraForce MTL is fully insured.

The city of Montreal does not require a permit to grind a tree stump. If utilities (gas\electricity\water) are close to the tree stump, we recommend contacting info excavation@​​
